SPLOST has already improved traffic flow and safety with roundabouts, bridge replacements and road-widening projects in our community. In fact, the last four SPLOST initiatives supplied over $160 million for road improvement projects, including the recent expansion of the Spout Springs Road project. That said, it’s impossible not to notice the increase of traffic on our community roads. But, by renewing SPLOST, you have the power to help complete projects that require significant investment – funds which will help keep traffic moving in our community.
SPLOST IX will do so by paving 30 miles of roads, completing the Spout Springs expansion, and addressing dangerous intersections. A vote for SPLOST will NOT increase current taxes – it simply continues Hall County’s current sales tax rate.
